The Whimsical Libra, aka Laura Oliveri, is a visionary of the natural order. Observe her artistry and you’ll find a strong connection to nature. How quaint this Libra is, and she displays a multitude of traits that put others at ease. She holds a creative fire inside that burns brightly, though she is an air sign. She’s also an explorer of cosmic spaces both inside herself, and throughout our gorgeous planet. The Whimsical Libra became Laura’s official title in 2019, but her art journey started in her adolescent and young adult years. Once she began, she never looked back. She’s been showcasing her artwork and live painting at local jam events since 2018, displaying original canvases, prints, and hand burned pendants that exemplified her unique style and grace. Always refining and honing her craft, she taught herself how to preserve fungi, flora, and insects at the height of Covid in 2020 when the world seemed to stop and stand still. She continued pushing forward. Whenever you see her setup at events, you’ll find gorgeous pendants showing aspects of Gaia’s beauty that she finds sacred among her artwork and wares. It’s another aspect of her multitude of talents which makes her creations truly one-of-a-kind.

The Whimsical Libra practices many artforms and is adept at imbuing canvas with beautiful and surreal characteristics. She’s barely scratched the surface of her abilities and continues to challenge herself daily. She seeks to evoke thoughtfulness through her work, if only to encourage and inspire others. Her own influences come from classic and contemporary mavens like Salvado Dali, Hannah Yata, Robert Steven Connett, and Olga Kilmova.
