Fire Performance Liability Waiver & Safety Agreement
Syndicate Sound Sessions
Location: Dirty Nellie’s or any Syndicate Sound Sessions venue

By signing below, I (“Participant”) acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk
I understand fire performance is dangerous and may cause burns, injury, property damage, or death. I accept all risks and affirm I have the training to perform safely.

Waiver & Release
I release and hold harmless Syndicate Sound Sessions, Dirty Nellie’s, their staff, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and participants from any claims, liabilities, injuries, or losses arising from my participation, including those caused by negligence.

Indemnification
I agree to defend and indemnify all Releasees against any third-party claims resulting from my actions, negligence, or misconduct.

Medical Treatment
I consent to medical care if injured and accept full responsibility for related costs.

Insurance
I understand Syndicate Sound Sessions and Dirty Nellie’s provide no insurance; I am responsible for my own coverage.

Safety Guidelines (must follow at all times):

• Sobriety: 100% sober—no alcohol, drugs, or intoxicants.

• Clothing: Fire-safe, natural fibers only; cover hair; avoid synthetics and flammable products.

• Props: Inspect before use; fix or ask if unsure.

• Fuel: White gas only; use metal containers; no glass. Fuel stays at depot.

• Safety: Towels provided; stay alert, communicate, and stop a performance if needed.

• Performing: Keep 20 ft. from audience; only do practiced tricks; communicate with safety.

• Special Props/Fire Breathing: Require approval.

• Rotation: After performing, assist as safety for others.

• Consent Culture: Always ask before touching, handling, or posting content.

• First Time Lighting Up? Notify organizers for guidance.

Severability
If any part of this agreement is invalid, the rest remains in effect.

By signing, I confirm I have read and understand this waiver, voluntarily accept its terms, and waive substantial rights knowingly.
